Palouse Chapter of CCL
The Palouse Chapter of the Citizens’ Climate Lobby, established in 2012, encompasses Whitman County, Washington and Latah County, Idaho with members from the Lewis Clark Valley as well. Our activities at the national and the local levels reflect the major concerns of the Palouse region: agriculture, forestry, higher education, and health.
CCL Palouse meets on the third Thursday of each month from 5:30-7:00 pm. In alternating months, we meet in Pullman at the Community Congregational Church, 525 NE Campus Avenue and in Moscow at the 1912 Center’s Fiske Room, 412 East 3rd Street. For more details about our meetings, including agendas and minutes, visit our calendar page.
We have informal social gatherings the second Thursday of each month from 5 pm-on at the Trailside Taproom (505 SE Riverview) in Pullman. Come and get to know your fellow CCL—P members and chat about climate action. We organize our work into action areas including Healthy Forests, Building Electrification and Efficiency, Carbon Fee and Cashback Dividend, grassroots outreach and lobbying Congress.
